THE ROAD TO WAR
Clarisse has one of the family jewels (hurr hurr) of Celegorm's family, and he's gonna about-face from the successful attack on Mair to head south to Caer Glaem reclaim it. By force.
He'll be travelling with some Unseelie folks + ??? (pending mod info and ooc wrangling with other pcs) soldiers, some survived from Mair, some fresh reinforcements. Ideally, a Seelie force will ride out to meet him before he makes it to Caer Glaem, so as not to interrupt PCs there who don't want to participate.
Please fill out this handy chart to list your participation deets if you're interested and so you can plot with other folks! I will update this header post with more info as plans get hashed out. So far:

PLEASE CHECK OUT THE LOG OPENER ROUGH DRAFT!
1. There will be TWO logs! THIS FIRST LOG is for the army in transit and in prep, and THIS SECOND LOG for the battle proper!
2. NPC matchmaking service! There's a lot more seelie than unseelie, so for those who want to actually play out battling orcs, drow, trolls, men, werewolves, or other fun opponents, there will be plenty of opportunities to do that! In the event post, there will be bios of these types of opponents and difficulty ratings, so if you have a character that would mow through the ground troops, you can do that! If you're wanting more of a boss-battle which actually tests your character's strengths, that can be handled too!
3. Event will be forward-dated! The event log for the battle itself will be going up a few days early, for those who have their plans all hashed out and want to get a move on!

PLACE: The valley between the mountains heading from Mair to Caer Glaem
DATE: July 26 - July 29
RESULT: Unseelie forces will be routed into retreat after a few days of making a very impressive stand

Harry Potter and the Bad Idea Battle Plans

COURT: Unseelie
COMPANY: He's going to be unaccompanied, but in the area. Harry has been exploring as much of the Drabwurld as he can so that he can better Apparate around.
BATTLE PLANS: If asked, he'll identify that he's with the Unseelie court and I am totes in favour of miscommunication. I think it would be great if he's mistaken for an advance scout or a spy or something like that. He's easily riled up to fight, so let's bring it on?
SHARD PLANS: Really rather not, but if it's gotta happen, I'm game.
