BOON REQUESTS
A little late, but it's boon time! Requests are up, which means the fairies and imps are out and about bothering people from their respective factions to note down the number one item on their wishlist again!
Wherever Shard-holder characters are in the Drabwurld, at some point today they will be approached by fairies or imps, depending on their alignment, bearing a piece of parchment and a quill. They will urge your character to write down a request for an item, power or favour from their monarchs in exchange for fighting or supporting their faction and they will take it away through a fairy-ring when it is written. There are three easy rules your character will be informed MUST NOT be broken:
If your character doesn't want to request a boon they may simply wave away the fairies/imps. It is not possible to "save up" Boon Requests for later events, so make sure to get yours in if you want one!

1) "Do not call for time and space to be bent to your will!"Essentially, the OOC boundaries relayed through IC means to your character are to avoid game-breaking demands being made. They will be approved, altered or denied here until 24th AUGUST (00:01am LONDON GMT) so that when your character receives their boon on the morning of 25th (you can pick any time for them to be delivered/show up) no matter where they are there is no fuss, no muss! The royal audiences are bi-monthly and the third is due to be held near October, which the fairies and imps will also be informing people. This month, everybody who managed to slay one of the shadow-beasties gets a boon! Feel free to link to any threads (completed or ongoing) that will show your character getting involved in the event this month. Simply C&P the below into your comment:
2) "You may not request another's true love or devotion!"
3) "Ask not for a road home or the loved ones whence you came!"

BOON REQUEST: Bolin will put in a general request for something to help him protect his friends and family, and maybe scribble a "no pressure" on there somewhere to be polite.
POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: Open to whatever you'd like to do with it! It's not something he'd have ideas for to include in the request, because thinking ahead is his natural enemy. Maybe one day I'll play a character with specific ideas...!

Bolin will receive a set of armor which will augment his earthbending; in addition to being able to manipulate earth, he'll be able to extend his power to living plants, encouraging their growth, root or branch, at an alarming rate wherever he wills. Practice will allow him to refine this ability.
Several days after boons are awarded will be delivered a little hand-painted children's book: 'The Seelie Come to Redgate', which had been clearly fashioned during or shortly after their visits to the village proper. It features caricatures of many of the Seelie team giving gathered children helpful life-advice in rhyme, aided by the antics of their pets.
