BOON REQUESTS

A little late, but it's boon time! Requests are up, which means the fairies and imps are out and about bothering people from their respective factions to note down the number one item on their wishlist again!


Wherever Shard-holder characters are in the Drabwurld, at some point today they will be approached by fairies or imps, depending on their alignment, bearing a piece of parchment and a quill. They will urge your character to write down a request for an item, power or favour from their monarchs in exchange for fighting or supporting their faction and they will take it away through a fairy-ring when it is written. There are three easy rules your character will be informed MUST NOT be broken:

1) "Do not call for time and space to be bent to your will!"
2) "You may not request another's true love or devotion!"
3) "Ask not for a road home or the loved ones whence you came!"

Essentially, the OOC boundaries relayed through IC means to your character are to avoid game-breaking demands being made. They will be approved, altered or denied here until 24th AUGUST (00:01am LONDON GMT) so that when your character receives their boon on the morning of 25th (you can pick any time for them to be delivered/show up) no matter where they are there is no fuss, no muss! The royal audiences are bi-monthly and the third is due to be held near October, which the fairies and imps will also be informing people. This month, everybody who managed to slay one of the shadow-beasties gets a boon! Feel free to link to any threads (completed or ongoing) that will show your character getting involved in the event this month. Simply C&P the below into your comment:

If your character doesn't want to request a boon they may simply wave away the fairies/imps. It is not possible to "save up" Boon Requests for later events, so make sure to get yours in if you want one!

BOON REQUEST: A pair of slim books that can be used as 'Notebooks'; able to store and display any tome/book/scroll that it's held against while a certain spell is incanted. Can also be used to write back and forth to each other on a 'private' network away from the lockets. (Enter the name of the person you want to reach and start writing). The books will be bound to their user, so no one else will be able to use them. One for Stiles and one for Hermione. (Possibly more to be added to that little network as Stiles expands his witchy/wizard circle)
POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: I'd prefer not to have it altered if possible, please.

POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: Open to whatever you'd like to do with it! It's not something he'd have ideas for to include in the request, because thinking ahead is his natural enemy. Maybe one day I'll play a character with specific ideas...!

POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: Easiest option would be some kind of magical enchantment for his bull helmet. This might be something to be a recurring theme as he gets around to making himself a full set of armor. Besides that, it might be nice to have a ship chartered near the Shipyard Ring to help him get underway. Otherwise, anything that serves his goal to be a knight or smith would be great!

BOON REQUEST: "Queen Solais, you said you picked me because the dragons we had back home meant we'd understand the importance of them here. Is there anyway I can have books about dragons from my world, which would be easier to read?"
POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: ANY BOOKS FROM HIS WORLD, maybe even some stupid trashy pulp fiction novels about detectives and maybe some trashy romance stuff too... "Love Amongst the Dragons" anyone? or maybe that one about the princess who destroyed a country on her dragon...and then jumped in a volcano.... he's read that one before... just give him lots of books he likes books

BOON REQUEST: Zuko wants something to help amplify his bending, akin to Sozin's Comet, perhaps in the form of a dragon since the Masters changed his perception on firebending as a whole. he'll go on an entire meta spiel to the imp about how he still feels like a very low quality bender and wishes to be at the level Azula was, since Azula was p. awesome when she wasn't trying to kill him — Raonil's a bit of a scare and has him wanting to be at the top of his game, so! he just wants something to defend him from Toph throwing rocks at him …
POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: if this isn't cool, he'll ask for his blue spirit mask he let go in the earth kingdom.

POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: So I guess this qualifies as something of a WILDCARD? Also Kaldur sends his apologies regarding the mixed language thing.

POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS: Lumina would like to be able to summon imps the way she summons other stuff, but any version of an imp buddy is fine! If not, then some random boon is good. :D

BOON REQUEST: Hermione would like a way for her compasses to be a little less one-way -- by somehow chaining the magic of them to the magic people get from shards so they can use it to send messages too? Being taught how to do this so she could go ahead and do it in the future would be cool, but she would love to make the communication less of a "Hermione talks to people and they deal with it" kind of thing!
