BOON REQUESTS

A little late, but it's boon time! Requests are up, which means the fairies and imps are out and about bothering people from their respective factions to note down the number one item on their wishlist again!


Wherever Shard-holder characters are in the Drabwurld, at some point today they will be approached by fairies or imps, depending on their alignment, bearing a piece of parchment and a quill. They will urge your character to write down a request for an item, power or favour from their monarchs in exchange for fighting or supporting their faction and they will take it away through a fairy-ring when it is written. There are three easy rules your character will be informed MUST NOT be broken:

1) "Do not call for time and space to be bent to your will!"
2) "You may not request another's true love or devotion!"
3) "Ask not for a road home or the loved ones whence you came!"

Essentially, the OOC boundaries relayed through IC means to your character are to avoid game-breaking demands being made. They will be approved, altered or denied here until 24th AUGUST (00:01am LONDON GMT) so that when your character receives their boon on the morning of 25th (you can pick any time for them to be delivered/show up) no matter where they are there is no fuss, no muss! The royal audiences are bi-monthly and the third is due to be held near October, which the fairies and imps will also be informing people. This month, everybody who managed to slay one of the shadow-beasties gets a boon! Feel free to link to any threads (completed or ongoing) that will show your character getting involved in the event this month. Simply C&P the below into your comment:

Bear in mind that if you opt for a WILDCARD, it could be COMPLETELY RANDOMIZED: for example, you could just as soon end up with an elephant as a packet of peanuts. Otherwise, make sure to mention something you think your character might want!

If your character doesn't want to request a boon they may simply wave away the fairies/imps. It is not possible to "save up" Boon Requests for later events, so make sure to get yours in if you want one!

Is she still alive? I mean... you tell him it belongs to someone else who's been imprisoned, and once his responsibility to the native elves is fulfilled (not that he'd abandon them, just once they're settled and safe and there's time, or if it's on the way, ETC), he'd ... try to take care of this also. So he'd ask the fairies to bring him any and all information they could.

Uuuunless it wasn't meant to be anything of the questy sort, aha.

It's meant to be as questy as you make it! Alternatively, perhaps he could set some of his friends upon the quest?

They'll inform him that she's been imprisoned somewhere in Treun for decades, though no one knows precisely where!

And though it's a girdle and girly, he'll wear it with pride and negl great relief! Do any modifications to it (if he wanted to make a belt for a sheath out of it for example, since it'd be a relatively small change and he wouldn't want to reforge it completely either) affect its nature?
