BOON REQUESTS

A little late, but it's boon time! Requests are up, which means the fairies and imps are out and about bothering people from their respective factions to note down the number one item on their wishlist again!


Wherever Shard-holder characters are in the Drabwurld, at some point today they will be approached by fairies or imps, depending on their alignment, bearing a piece of parchment and a quill. They will urge your character to write down a request for an item, power or favour from their monarchs in exchange for fighting or supporting their faction and they will take it away through a fairy-ring when it is written. There are three easy rules your character will be informed MUST NOT be broken:

1) "Do not call for time and space to be bent to your will!"
2) "You may not request another's true love or devotion!"
3) "Ask not for a road home or the loved ones whence you came!"

Essentially, the OOC boundaries relayed through IC means to your character are to avoid game-breaking demands being made. They will be approved, altered or denied here until 24th AUGUST (00:01am LONDON GMT) so that when your character receives their boon on the morning of 25th (you can pick any time for them to be delivered/show up) no matter where they are there is no fuss, no muss! The royal audiences are bi-monthly and the third is due to be held near October, which the fairies and imps will also be informing people. This month, everybody who managed to slay one of the shadow-beasties gets a boon! Feel free to link to any threads (completed or ongoing) that will show your character getting involved in the event this month. Simply C&P the below into your comment:

Otherwise, make sure to mention something you think your character might want!

If your character doesn't want to request a boon they may simply wave away the fairies/imps. It is not possible to "save up" Boon Requests for later events, so make sure to get yours in if you want one!

BOON SLIGHTLY MODIFIED

An unfamiliar green-robed servant offers Tarrlock a great book regarding the laws of the territory crowned by Caer Glaem... and also a letter, inviting him to act as an ambassador to other territories on behalf of Caer Glaem.

If he accepts, the servant will have more to say.

The messenger will admit that he's a kirin, and inform Tarrlock that should he deign to act as the Queen's delegate, that he is meant to offer Tarrlock's service as a servant, guide, informant, and ad-hoc mount should it be necessary.

His name is Bashe, and it's immediately apparent that he has a penchant for the highly formal.
